Lula’s development

Posted in Uncategorized on May 15th, 2005 by Jo

Lula is just over 4 months old now. She measures 68,5 cm and weights 8,1 kg so is growing steadily. She just had her third and last vaccinations a few days ago. It is amazing to see every week new developments. Just 2 weeks ago she would cry when put on her belly and now she lifts herself up high. We think that she started teething too as she bites down a lot and dribbles like crazy. Going out together is so much more fun too as Lula likes to look around and observe the world. Looking at books is one of her favourite activities and whenever she cries that’s what will calm her down. She has a language of her own and talks a lot now too. Being a parent is just getting better and better!:lol::lol:

Little Iza’s visit

Posted in Uncategorized on May 7th, 2005 by Jo

Little Iza came over from NYC to visit Lula with her mum and dad. We are having a great time running around London with our little bundles of joy. We are sure that Lula is learning from her friend as since Iza is here Lula started putting her dummy in the mouth and holding her feet, which is a huge development! Nonsense about babies of that age ignoring each other! They adore being together and Lula is mesmerised by her nearly 9 month old friend! Soon we will go to visit on the other side of the Atlantic.

Waszulka’s visit

My dear friend Waszula just came over from Toronto to meet Lula and visit us. There are always people in our life that make a difference and are special and Waszulka was always that to me. It was lovely to see her after many years and give her an extra speedy tour of London. I am still slow and overweight after the pregnancy but we managed pretty well. Memories from the past came flooding back. It’s so amazing sharing them with her. She remembered things that I did not and vice versa. We both became more serious and focused in our life, but I am sure we will always be a little bit the way we used to be.
